Spring Celebration 250: A Symphony of Stars

Westmoreland Youth Ballet proudly presents Spring Celebration 250: A Symphony of Stars, an uplifting tribute to our nation’s 250th birthday. This special event features three distinctly American ballets, each radiating patriotic spirit and artistic excellence. Audiences will be captivated by “A Symphony of Stars,” set to the rousing music of John Phillip Sousa and arranged by Hershey Kay, and “S’wonderful,” which showcases the timeless melodies of George Gershwin, both saluting the iconic choreographic style of George Balanchine. Completing the program is the premier of a new children's ballet, “The Red Pony,” honoring the American frontier with Aaron Copland’s evocative score. Join us for a dazzling weekend celebrating America’s rich artistic legacy through dance.
