Primary Division
Students in the Primary Division receive high quality classical ballet training and performance opportunities. Students learn foundational ballet technique while exploring musicality in a structured class format. Levels 1 - 3 class work focuses on placement, posture, and coordination through repetition of exercises. Students will gradually be able to execute longer and more challenging class work as they progress through the levels.
We recommend students spend at least one year in each level.
Primary students meet for classes at least twice per week throughout the 34-week school year. Parents are invited to observe classes and track their student's progress at the end of each semester(2x per year) or upon request.
Level placement is based on ability & experience rather than age.

View Performance Opportunities
*As a pre-professional ballet school, we place high importance on consistency of training. Students are expected to attend all classes. Students choosing to participate in performance opportunities will rehearse on weekends outside of their regular class schedule. We do not rehearse during weekly classes to ensure that our students continue to learn, refine and progress in their technical abilities, artistic expression and musicality.
