Ballet for competitive and recreational dancers who seek to improve their classical ballet technique, build strength, enhance their coordination, and refine their artistry and musicality.
Weekly drop-in classes beginning September 12th. Ages 9 and up.
Classical Technique & Articulation Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30pm*
*Class work combines classical ballet technique with conditioning exercises to improve extensions, leaps and turns, refine articulation of the feet and ankles, and establish proper alignment among other objectives.
Pre-pointe/Pointe Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:00pm*
*Students must take CT&A to particpate in the Pre-pointe/Pointe class.
Community drop-in classes follow a semester schedule.
Fall Semester: September 12th - December 12th
Spring Semester: January 2nd - May 16th
What to wear?
Any color leotard, pink tights, and ballet slippers. Hair should be pulled away from the face into a ballet bun. Pointe shoes if applicable
What to bring?
Classical Technique & Articulation: Please bring a waterbottle, towel and Theraband (blue or medium weight). Props such as yoga blocks and Pilates rings will be provided.
